Reliq fashion (Theo glossy)
For the anniversary edition of "Theo" magazine, Studio Unicps was invited to express their vision on liturgical clothing for female vicars.

Pim Kramer is looking forward to designing the first Dutch nettle fashion collection that isn’t just another ecological collection. Her aim is to design clothing that can be worn by all. The nettles material is perfect for that. Satiny soft on one side, raw like cotton on the other side. And in case you’re wondering, no sting.

At the congress on “Clothing in the year 2050” Carla Wobma and Jaq Volckmann bumped into each other. Jaq had recently met a textile manufacturer in Germany who made fabrics using nettles. The idea for an environmentally friendly fashion line was born.

First Arnhem catwalk (Gelderlander)
Saturday, July 12, 2003, the first Arnhem Catwalk show in Sonsbeek premiered. And it has to be said it was a show on par with famous shows from all over the world. Spectacle aplenty, especially the designs of Studio Unicps’ Deconstructed Venice Carnival collection. A feast for the eye. Provocative, beautifully detailed creations in recycled and sustainable materials. -

Sold out fashion show in Club Manhattan (Arnhemse Courant)
Mad in your own way – Multi-couloured sets solely made of recycled fabrics and other garments, denim skirts made out of jeans, curtains transformed into boleros, sleevelets made from nylons and a coat made from a blanket that felt like the warmth of the bedroom was still in it. Applications and collages in fabric were just a few of the elements Studio Unicps showed in a jam-packed fashion show.

Trendy catwalk in Arnhems urban spaces (Arnhemse Courant)
Designers Kramer and Volckmann choose a unique way of presenting.
The presentation by Studio Unicps was not only a fashion show but audience became participant by bringing them into the space the models, one male, one female dressed themself in. A virtual fiting room that gave the opportunity to not only see but touch and feel the intimite world created in a voyeuristic game of show and hide.
